At Seiyuu, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use my mobile application and cloud services. My core philosophy is simple: we do not want your data. Wejust want to tell you who the voice actor is.

2. Audio Data Handling

The primary function of Seiyuu is to analyze audio clips to identify voice actors. Here is exactly how that works:

Transient Processing: When you record a clip, it is sent to my inference server. The server processes the audio solely to extract a mathematical representation (embedding) to match against my model.
No Permanent Storage: Once the identification result is generated, the audio file is immediately deleted from my volatile memory. We do not save, archive, or listen to your recordings.
No AI Training: We do not use user-submitted recordings to train my AI models. My models are pre-trained on public datasets.

3. Offline Data

If you use the Offline Queue feature:

Audio clips are stored locally on your specific device.
These files are encrypted by the Android/iOS filesystem sandbox.
Once your device reconnects to the internet and the clip is processed, the local file is automatically deleted from your device.

4. Information We Automatically Collect

To improve app stability, we may collect minimal, anonymized metadata:

Device Information: Model, OS version, and screen size (to fix UI bugs).
Crash Logs: If the app crashes, a report may be generated to help me fix the code. These logs do not contain audio data.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect data during transmission:

Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between the App and my servers is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS/SSL).
Server Security: My cloud inference engines are hosted in secure environments with strict access controls to prevent unauthorized access.

6. Third-Party Services

We connect to trusted third-party APIs to provide content:

AniList / MyAnimeList: To display images and filmographies. They may see your IP address when fetching images, but we do not send them your audio.
CDJapan: If you click a merchandise link, you are directed to their store. They may use cookies to track affiliate referrals.

7. Your Data Rights

Since Seiyuu does not create user accounts or permanently store personal audio data, there is usually no "account" to delete. However, you retain full rights to:

Clear Local Data: You can clear the app's cache or storage on your device settings to remove any locally cached images or logs.
Request Info: Contact me if you have concerns about specific data usage.

8. Children's Privacy

Seiyuu does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided me with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
